They are giving it because the Delta variant is far worse than the one that came out.

I will only take the Pfizer one anyway. So I will wait.

I shall certainly have the booster shot when it's offered. I see no reason why not to. Here, everyone over 50 will be eligible, with NHS staff and care home workers having priority. It has also just been announced that 12-15 year olds will be offered a single shot and I think that both my middle grandchildren (12 and 13) will have theirs. My eldest (22) has had her two and the youngest (9) is not eligible, of course.

It is good they are getting theirs. The Delta variant hits younger people more than the elderly.

I won't get the first two. Call me anti-vax, but it's just not right for me. The risk to my health from probable side effects, in my opinion, would be worse than getting the virus, itself. And, if they're calling for a third shot, it only incresses your chances of side effects.

If you are allergic to the ingredients, I understand. I know someone personally who is. But everyone I know says that getting Covid-19 is far worse than the side effects of the vaccine. I personally did not have any side effects with either shot, but a mild sore arm that lasted less than 24 hours.

My granny (over 80) got hers 3 weeks ago and did not feel anything. My parents (over 60) are on a waiting list to get it.
I have no idea when I might get one or if I even should get one.
