I have a 1 1/2 year old baby girl and I also have a 2 1/2 year old baby boy. In the mornings, I attend college for nearly 7 hours a day. Then I come home, and do my homework, and chores ( what I can Do ) while my hubby is at work. Sometimes, the kids get so bored and cranky, I hve to run to my mothers house just so I can get a little bit of a break. But, if they arent too cranky, I like to take them to the park, and let them run all their energy out, and while they are there, I also like to take with me are some art supplies, so they can make all the mess they want, and I dont haved to worry about it getting on my carpet/walls.

okay this is a tough one, it is very important that when you babies get to the toddler stage that they have some sort of routine as well as a schedule. I have learned that having my older child in some classes here and there really helps. I have subscribed to free parent/child resources through the community and online so that way I can see what is going on around me. Library time is good and I do a lot of community center classes like tumbling and dance, it is a lot cheaper than going to a commercialized kids gym and I get to meet a lot of the parents that also live in my community. Plus I work from home so if I have to go to the post office or whatever I take the kids in the stroller and we walk there and back.

I'm a stay at home mom to my two boys, one and two yrs old, I joined a playgroup in my area, it's alot of fun, we got to meet new people, I made some friends and so did the boys, they have playdates and activites for everyday of the week, so if you feel bored you'll have something to do.

I am for the past 2 months. I have a son who is 2 and 1/2. Inever get bored with him. He is very creative. I let him to do lots of things he like and believe me playing with his toys, isn't one of them. He likes to do whatever I do. Using the computer, pretending he is speaking on the telephone and stuff like that. He is good in pretending like telling stories in his one uniqye way. Just let your children express freely and never try to correct them harshly. Tell it once and then if they don't just pretend to understand what they say. It's fun because they're saying lots of stuff and when you realise what they say you communicate with them in a different level.

I found some play groups by searching on myspace in our area. I get together on occasion with the moms on there at local parks for playdates. :) and then i like to blog, read and play onthe computer if i get any free time.....

Hey! That`s a great discussion! My name is Ashley Leigh. I am fairly new to MyLot and have met a lot of nice people already! I was wondering if I could add you to *My Buddies*. That way, when you post new discussions I can reply to them and share my opinions. I hope that`s okay. Please let me know. I can also help you make more money on MyLot. Also, if you have MySpace, I`m on there everyday. Mine is www.myspace.com/skittlez353. MyLot is a really great way to make some extra money. You just have to be devoted. That`s how I see it. I`m a stay-at-home job so I just think of this as my way of making extra diaper money and it helps. I hope I can reply to more of your discussions though, please let me know if I can add you. xO` [ASHLEY]

You have kids and you're bored. Wow, what a strange lucury. My kids constantly amuse me, and there is no boredom to be found. I have two boys roughly 14 months apart. Get messy - that's always fun.

I'm a work at home mom, so I dont have much of a chance to get BORED. When I'm not doing housework or taking care of the kids' needs, I'm working online! I'm really happy that I can be home with my children while also being able to contribute financially!
