Shoes

I had a craze for shoes in my younger days and had several pairs - high heels, wedge heels, flats.......the works - in different colours to match my clothes This took me to a poem I learnt in school
New shoes, new shoes,
Red and pink and blue shoes.
Tell me, what would you choose,
If they’d let us buy?
Buckle shoes, bow shoes,
Pretty pointy-toe shoes,
Strappy, cappy low shoes;
Let’s have some to try.
Bright shoes, white shoes,
Dandy-dance-by-night shoes,
Perhaps-a-little-tight shoes,
Like some? So would I.
BUT
Flat shoes, fat shoes,
Stump-along-like-that shoes,
Wipe-them-on-the-mat shoes,
That’s the sort they’ll buy
Are you shoes crazy too?

That is a wise thing to do Something that fits your feet is what one should go for and not for different patterns

@allknowing Mostly I do it with athletic shoes since that's what I wear to work... That way I can wear the same style every day but not the same pair. (Wearing the same pair every day makes my shoes and my feet stink. Trading them off gives the shoes time to dry and air out before I put them on again.)

I loved summer sandals until my feet got old after the chemotherapy. Now the sandals must be firmly strapped on my feet and not everyone meets those requirements.

@allknowing I decided to accept that the only shoes for me are shoes that don´t hurt at all when I wear them for the first time.

No. I only have like two pair. But since I'm in a wheelchair and barefoot as much as possible I get a lot of years out of them.

I was when I was in college until I worked in the private corporate world. As I age I cannot wear high heels anymore so I just settle on flats, wedge and clogs.

I'm not a fan of shoes, but I have quite a lot of shoes, ranging from sneakers, sports shoes, school shoes, walking shoes, and so on. I like wearing shoes instead of sandals because my feet are quite big (lol) and having many colors of clothes makes me have to buy shoes that match the color of my clothes.

Despite not being a fan you still have so many pairs as mentioned by you. A pair each for every outfit?
