What is going on the dinner table tonight? Share with us! I'm making skirt steak with a balsamic tomato and onion salad topping. I saw the recipe on Skinnytaste. It has been on my mind and I have all of the ingredients so I figure why not? The steak is supposed to be grilled but I will do it in my cast iron skillet. To go with it I'm trying Nigella Lawson's Salt and Vinegar Potatoes. You steam them, then smush them, then roast them, and finally toss them with some kosher salt and apple cider vinegar. I like salt and vinegar potato chips so I am interested to see what these potatoes taste like. I already had 2 bowls of chopped salad for lunch so I've gotten plenty of vegetables into my life today. That is what is happening here. What are YOU having? I want to know!

Something light to break fast. Trying to stay away from food posts right now.

Aren't bagels and salads traditional? Or maybe not with the whole meat/dairy thing for those who keep kosher.

@NJChicaa Yes. They are traditional. Light eating of tuna, egg salad, sable, whitefish, and even potato soup.

Those potatoes sure sound interesting. I am not completely sure, but probably heating some sausages up and making grilled cheese out of a pepperoni and marinara cheese I got at Aldi's recently.
