I Got Paid!!

What a pleasant surprise I got when I checked my Paypal account yesterday...I got paid over $5.00 from myLot for the first time in several years! Hey, I know it's not much but it's something and it gave me the push I needed to get back on here after being a lazy couch potato doing not much other than binging TV shows lately!
Now I'm going to aim for a bigger payday next month!

I know. Years ago in the early days of myLot I was on here for hours every day and at that time the minimum to get paid was $10 and I made more than that almost every month. I've had a lot of problems recently which have made it difficult for me to spent as much time here as I'd like to but I'm trying to change that. Getting that tiny payout gave me some incentive to do just that!

@crossbones27 I know the former moderator passed away suddenly awhile back. He was a good friend in the early days when I was extremely active here. I was shocked to read of his passing. He was a great guy!

I know they stopped paying for awhile several years ago and I think a lot of people left because of it, as if it was going to make or break them...lol! I must admit, though, it does provide more incentive to post knowing you're going to get even a small payment.

@anniepa From what I remember of that is they stitched owners or something and then they took it back and why many came back.

Congrats on your payout, as my dad says, "I've never seen money come at a bad time." And also, "Anything beats a blank" which is his way of saying even making a penny is better than nothing. I had a similar idea today about getting back on myLot to sort of shake the dust off my feathers

@anniepa I completely understand the being online every day and night and having a hard time getting up for work, I used to do that too only I wasn't on myLot, I was on, shall we say "spicier"

. I just got back on myLot today after being gone for a few years. I'm enjoying it again already!

Took me three years to get the minimum for my last $5, so I completely get it. And hey, if need be I bet those TV shows can help start a few new discussions...
