Whats For Dinner?

I haven't asked this question is quite awhile and am just throwing it out there on this Friday evening.
Are you cooking? If so what's on the menu?
Or is Friday night a take-out or go out night for you?
Back before Covid I never cooked on Friday and we always had pizza or something easy enough for a take-out.
Tonight there's no take-out here and it's meatloaf, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli.
Easy enough without much fuss or clean-up

Yum! I like sweet potato fries. Have you ever had sweet potato tots? They're good too

I made a new recipe on that website that I shared with you.
The casserole turned out quite nice, we both agreed that it would be just as wonderful if I substitute (left over) turkey for the meat and instead of the white sauce, use leftover gravy. With Thanksgiving being only a month away, I am shifting my thoughts to turkey leftover ideas.

I forgot that your Thanksgiving is a month ahead of us.
Glad your dinner turned out good and your idea for substitutes will work just as well I think

Mashed potatoes are my favorite way to eat potatoes but I don't think there's any way that potatoes are prepared that I don't like
The pandemic really has disrupted so many things in addition to the virus itself
