Have you ever heard of salmon color?

Us, three sisters, were discussing the paint color for the wall and marble for the floor. I suggested white for all but First sister said it was boring. I was like, 'Okay, let's go aesthetic! And adventurous! Let's pick salmon!' It took time for them to answer me back. Second sister told me she didn't want pink wall. But I told her salmon is not pink! Because it's not! The color topic became a lengthy discussion where Second sister got fed up later on and refused to participate. So the decision was mine to make Don't blame me for the pink wall in her room later Then salmon didn't seem like a nice choice afterwards, so I choose desert pink instead, which is a combination of golden pink and peach. Yes, I've heard of salmon as a color... It's named after the color the fish turn when they're swimming upstream to lay their eggs... And yes, it IS pink!

@prinzcy I once bought some paint for my bedroom called "Natural tan", thinking tan would be nice in my bedroom... It was a very light tannish pink... My friends teased me about painting my bedroom pink...

@prinzcy And they all look so close. It's tough to decide. And sometimes they look totally different on walls than on shade cards. It's very tricky to choose.

It is, right? Unfortunately we have hard time combining it with the floor later and the paint shop doesn't have the right salmon color that I want.

I've heard of salmon pink before. It's coincidental but Vince at this minute is putting cream cheese and smoked salmon on some tiny pancakes.

I've heard of it but it's not as catchy as the name, I prefer cream colors compared to colors that get dirty easily.

Which salmon? Salmons come in many different colors. The color of salmon flesh varies from almost white to deep orange, it depends what they eat.

@prinzcy I would not like white walls but I would not like any of the shaded you posted. Close to white, ivory would be good, or also "sand", grey not, it's a sad color for the walls.

No, I haven't heard of salmon colour before. I am weak in colors but I don't like walls to be pink color instead yellow or sky blue colors look appealing to me.
