It stands for post script. It's like adding a thought that you forgot to convey, at the end of a message.

P.S. stands for Post Script! :) Why? Do you use it when you write letters?

Hi! P.S. stands for "post script." It is used to indicate an afterthought or something that was added after a letter or piece of correspondence has already been written. At the bottom of the letter is "P.S." then the information that has been added. Hope that helps! :-)

P.S is the abbreviation of "Post script" it is used for the additional thoughts of yours. Like something you've thought after writing an scrap, letter, post or things like that. It is the most easy word word to convey your messages in an additional way!
Perhaps the most common postscript found in love letters is "P.S. I love you!" This title was given to at least two popular songs, one by Rosemary Clooney and one by The Beatles.
P.S. is sometimes used as a purely stylistic touch, when it isn't really necessary.

Post script. You have added more information at the end of a letter.
