(I'll probably "reveal some of the 'secret events' (of this episode or past episodes), so--if you don't want any of the surprises SPOILed--you better go watch all 5-and-a-half season before you finish this! )
I've done a post or two about LUCIFER---the series (started on FOX, then going to NETFLIX with help from WARNER BROS.) about how the angel Lucifer--after ruling over Hell for several ages as Satan--decided to 'take a break' and rise to Earth as a human.
(You know how it's been kind of annoying lately that you can't watch too much YouTube without seeing people who basically retell the popular stories they watch-or-read elsewhere? Well, I'm seeing why they do that ... LUCIFER's story is so interesting (at least if you learn it while you watch it), that I'm having fun remembering it.
(Although I should note: although almost-all the names are the same ones used in The Bible, there are SEVERAL key points where LUCIFER's story differs from 'The Christians' narrative.')
Probably the key breaking-point was one-or-two that doesn't have much to do with the wedding: The Queen of Heaven---not necessarily Mary, though she is God's wife--reunited with God on Earth, and took him to live with her in a retirement home in another dimension.
Yep; God Retired! Meaning that all the angels had to choose one of them to become the next God. And it came down to Lucifer (Samael) and his twin-brother Michael (Makael). And Lucifer destroyed him, and became God ... but [i]Not yet?[/b]
Anyway; while he's working-out 'the growing & learning he's got to do before he & his wife Chloe can take their place in 'the throne-of-God & his advisor,"' Eve (mother of all humans) and Mazikeen (demoness spawned by Adam's first ex-wife Lilith) decide that they're right for each other and get married---wife & wife.
The whole story kinda "comes together" right there (for me) ... I don't know; it's like the episode 'confirmed (in my mind) that it's what LOKI Time Variance Authority might call a "Variant Spike"'---a moment that sets it apart from 'reality' (i.e. the world I thought the story took place in ... I know it was NEVER "a documentary," -ALWAYS "fiction")
Any interesting twists in the story for you?
