Do you have sometimes feelings of desperation?

I feel this way now. I can't see anything positive in my life. Nothing improves even if I tried so hard to change everything. I am trying to ignore this feeling. I will try to write here and maybe I will forget about this feeling. I think this is a normal feeling when nothing changes in a good way. When you have these feelings how do you overcome them? Sorry for venting here.

I think honestly Diana, you are doing extremely well to rid yourself of these depressive feelings. You are doing better than I.. For instance, there are days when that overwhelming despondency hits me and I cannot even come to myLot. When it is really bad, I exhaust myself and try to lay down and rest. It is all I can do. If I have some energy, I will try to watch a movie to take my mind off things. If I have some energy, I may also walk outside, but I do not always feel good to do so. Dont give up Diana!! I find myLot to be better for me than the therapist. You are never alone in these feelings. There are many of us that have these.

I also experienced that and I`m working on it. I pray in the morning and trust God that everything will be ok. I just do what I can do for the day and let it be whatever it is to happen. Patience is the answer. You have to do more and the good things will eventually happen. It takes more time

I have a problem that started 10 years ago. For 10 years I tried to change it and I can't. I waited for 10 years waiting for something positive. I lost my patience.

@dya80dya Oh. That`s a long time already. I hope you get to see a Psychiatrist to analyze your problem. I also went to see a Psychiatrist and having my lifetime medicine. It helps me. Maybe it can help you too

It's amazing how powerful is the mind. I had such feelings of desperation and bitterness that a taste of bitterness appeared in my mouth. It was a physical feeling.

Change of mindset and finding the time for watching motivational videos and even trying to overcome limiting beliefs. I hope this helps.

Motivational videos are a good idea. I will start watching them today. Thanks. It's a bit harder to overcome limiting beliefs. They are stuck in the subconscious mind.

@dya80dya limiting beliefs are deeply rooted in the subconscious mind. Pinterest has lots of ideas and YouTube too on how to let go of limiting beliefs. It's not easy overcoming limiting beliefs especially finding out the root of cause. But it can be done.
