Would You Walk in the Marsh for a Photo Like This?

I wouldn’t, because I don’t like my shoes to get dirty, lol, but it didn’t stop my nature lover of a son!
While I was taking awfully bad photos from our restaurant table of the marina and beyond, he spotted this Great Blue Heron and immediately left the table.
He gets the credit for this photo. The rest of us watched the heron catch fish.
Mother Nature at her best once again.
And no, he kept his shoes spotless, too!

I wouldn't. My mom showed me a picture of a great blue heron at the creek in her backyard last week. Apparently my 5 year old nephew kept telling her to "look at the blue bird" and she thought it was just a blue jay or a blue bird. Nope!

It really is a lovely photo! Did he take his shoes off before going in? I'd be afraid I'd scare the big fellow off with my splashing (and being too close).

It would depend on what shoes I had on. If I had my boots then yes. But I probably would not have them on for going out to dinner He got a great photo

i would say get a telephoto lens for the camera! i try not to step into mush i learned that years ago!
