Serious Question?Blog Starters?

Okay, I have a few questions and I really need some insight and help if someone can give it. I have a blogger and WordPress, but I am at a stand still. I have Google AdSense, but want to start using it to make more. I am ready to host my Word press blog or Wix ext. The Question??? Any of you use a hosting site to buy your domain name? I am trying to get my domain and everything going, but I am stuck on which company to use right now. I might move everything from my blogger or keep it and have my second page and later have a store too. My name is already picked, so I will be doing a logo and all of that jazz. Thank you in advance.
