My new couch

I got a new couch! Practically brand new, and FREE, too!
People across the road went into a nursing home, and the lady of the house told the granddaughter to just get rid of everything. So the poor granddaughter spent the last couple weeks emptying the house, putting some stuff out to the curb for people to just come and take what they wanted. (Grandmother didn't even want her to sell the stuff, told her to "just throw it away".)
So, since I was really in need of a new couch (a baby elephant sat on it and the webbing holding up the seat snapped) I asked if there was a love seat...
There were actually two, and I picked this one. The matching 4-seater couch went to my left-hand neighbour, who also needed a new couch.

Very cool! A couple of years ago, I bought a two-seater at the Habitat For Humanity store here in town. Dusty rose/beige/green plaid. Fits very nicely in my little apartment and is comfy, too.

That's great that you got it for free and I'm sure that poor granddaughter was happy that both the loveseat and couch went to people who needed them. It's sad when good stuff gets thrown out

Free is always a great price! I was happy to get a couple of pieces of furniture for free when I moved into my apartment.
