More Credit

It is funny how things work. I recently received an additional $1,500 increase on one of my Master Cards, and a $400 increase on my Visa. I didn't ask for either of them; and I didn't need it. I have more available credit now, then I will ever need. I find it interesting that in the past when I wanted high limits on my credit cards, I would receive average increases. Now that I have way more credit than I need...every time I turn around, the banks are just throwing additional credit at me. LOL

It's interesting how they gave you some increases despite not needing them. It's funny how they do that.

@Scrapper88 That number is considered very good. An 800 to 850 score is considered a perfect score. I am only 49 points away from being in a perfect category.

@teresatrotter I have no idea if that is a good or bad number.

I know what you mean. My discover credit doubbled a month after I paid off the bill.

I will see what happens to mine. Last month they approved me for a new card. They started me with a $2,000 limit. They are matching dollar for dollar all my cash rewards the first 12 months of being a card holder.

I do too. But not at the level I am getting them now. In the past they were a lot lower, and very few automatic increases. I usually had to ask.
