...and, now my husband says he wants one, too.
A Few weeks ago, as you may remember, my husband and I bought a new van. The van came with Apple Carplay, and we'd both hoped it would work with Android... which it did. Well, except for the map and that was pretty much it. My husband has never been one to rely on GPS, but has discovered it could come in handy when you didn't know where you were going.
So, a few days aago, in an effort to get the most out of our van, I bought an Iphone 12 Mini. While I'm still an advid Android lover.... I'm finding I don't hate the iphone. It's not so bad, though getting used to the smaller screen is the biggest adjustment.

Ive switched to iPhone many years ago but i prefer the big screen so i always go for their Pro Max line. The reason why i stick to this phone is the security feature.

So far, that's annoyed the hell out of me. I love when Face ID works, but I never know when it's going to require my passcode. And, I'm having to get used to a six-digit passcode vs a 4-digit. I just wish Android and Apple shared better.

@kaylachan when you restart your phone it's going to require you the passcode. I love that with my Apple Watch I can open my Face ID even with the mask on.

I have had an iPhone 6 for almost 3 years. I bought it at a black Friday sale for $99 and it works great. But, I can't update it anymore. So I bought a new one. Can't remember what it is, but my sister suggested it and she likes hers. I only used android phones for many years. So the iPhone took me a while to navigate.

I am a total tech nerd. Learning Iphone's interface wasn't all that hard. Android adopted some of their gestures since the relese of Android 10. I'm glad thatiPhone finally lets me have that almost blank screen I like so much.

@kaylachan I received my new iPhone a couple of days ago and cannot for the life of me figure out how to transfer the info from one phone to another. My sister is going to help me today.

My sister and her whole family use Iphones. I never had one personally. I am satisfied with Androids.

I love android, too. Always have. I still use mine to play games and watch videos. And, I know I could switch my sim card back over anytime I wanted. But, I also agree with my husband. We should get everything we can out of the van. So making it my daily driver and getting to know it seemed like the right thing to do.

George and I don't travel much, but when we do we tend to use GPS. We used to rent cars when we'd go to see my sister-in-law, and the last few had built-in GPS. He loved it and when he found out our van could do the same, well... we just had to make it work.

My brother keeps trying to get me to buy an iPhone, but I still like my Android. I see no reason to change and I really don't think like the Apple designers expect me to. I think it's hard to find things on Apple products. I hate my iMac.

I have an iPhone 7, my “old” one, that I did NOT trade in when I got my new iPhone 12. I’ve been exclusively Apple for about seven years now, and since I retired I don’t know if I’d know how to log on to Windows anymore.

I still use a windows laptop. I don't think you could pay me to switch to a mac. Used it back in the day before Windows existed. But, it just works better for me. Especially Window's 2 in 1 line. I can use touch features on the screen itself and don't have to rely on a mouse.
