Buying turmeric powder for future use

Actually I bought this pack of turmeric powder a week ago. It’s been a long time that I want to make a java rice to be paired with barbecue or roasted chicken but it is not realized. I hope I can make it on this weekend or the next couple of days. Some of the people I know put turmeric powder in the water that they’re drinking for health benefits. I want to try this but I am imagining its taste and I’m not sure if I will like it. Well, that’s one thing that I want to know.

I do not believe I would like turmeric tea, but I use the powder when I make the curries and also to prepare rice.

I can`t drink turmeric powder but if you mix it with the food, I can eat it. It is better mixing it with the rice and eat it with Chicken BBQ so yummy

We add turmeric powder onto chicken we're baking and in ground beef dishes. It tastes good like that.

We always use turmeric powder in the food. Also, you can mix half spoon of it in a glass of lukewarm milk daily. It has health benefits.

I like turmeric powder... Its grown in our field ..near our grandparents place... we get the fresh turmeric every year ..we make the turmeric powder at home.after drying it.. Its good for health ..we use it in curries and in other things.. I know turmeric tea is also good for health ..it boosts the metabolism i usually add a pinch of turmeric in ginger water and have it with honey ...

I actually take turmeric capsules everyday. They are sold in pharmacies. I can't stand the taste of turmeric powder in water.

@ZedSmart okay, that was also the observation of my sister having hyper acidity. She also doesn't drink lemon juice with turmeric and ginger only ne at home.

Turmeric has many scientifically proven health benefits but I'd prefer it using in cooking. My mother makes this as Tea.

I've dodged drinking water with turmeric in it too. It mightn't taste nice and then I'd have to either drink it or throw it out. lol
