The Class You Hated the Most

I'm sure that you will be able to think of at least one. For me, it was geography and it wasn't the topic so much as it was the teacher. He obviously didn't like the subject or teaching it... that I don't know but his classes were boards and boards of questions and you had better know the answers the next day. That was his idea of teaching! What class did you hate the most and what was it about the class that was so horrible??

Now, that reminds me of my history teacher. I'm sure that I wasn't the only one who hated the subject ! Wwe spent an entire semester on the Communist Manifesto. It might have been interesting to some but it sure wasn't for me.

@Marilynda1225 That reminds me of Physics... I had to go to summer school for that. I made it through, but it was as exciting as old dish water! There were some cute guys in the class through from another high school... that I remember ;)

I was never a math person, so I pretty much hated ALL my math classes. Math was always so confusing to me .

@Hate2Iron They think they are teaching the kids these days the better way (what is called Common Core). The math lessons are horrendous and I think confuse the kids even more. Ugh - I never ever liked those word problems . . . I'd pick apart the question too much and end up confusing myself .

There has to be a better way to teach math. I found it confusing as well. I hated those stupid problems that they sent us home with. "If the car went this fast and then it slowed to this speed, how long would it take you to get home"? Those still give me headaches just to think about it. ;)

math wasn't my favorite by a long shot... but it was my geography teacher that ruined the subject for m :( My kids... actually enjoyed calculus. I swear I was given the wrong kids at the hospital. ;) As for philosophy lol... I found that fascinating... you must have had a rotten teacher for it... or my brain is just weird lol!!

Never made it that far. I studied French all through high school, but I'm far from fluent! I still study it on Duolingo... My vocab is pretty good, but I wouldn't get very far if someone started speaking to me in French. "Parlez lentement comes to mind lol! "Tres lentement!!

When i was in 4th grade, math. Because of the teacher. He scared me too much that even though i knew the answer, i got tongue tied every time he’d asked me. He would embarrassed me in class and that made things even worse for me. I thought i was really stupid in math. But when i reached high school, algebra became my favorite subject because of my teacher. It was even the subject that i got the highest mark.

I don't know why some people go into the teaching profession if they don't like the job!! He sounds like a rotten teacher... even worse than my geography teacher.

@Hate2Iron he loved my sister though and he would always compare me to him. In fact, he was my father's classmate in college. They were friends.

I was going to say maths, but thinking twice LATIN, I hated Latin, it was so difficult. Now I regret I did not spent more time on the books, a very useful language to know.

I didn't like history. The teacher was very scathing so I kept my head down and didn't interact. The classes were also incredibly boring and it was hard to stay on track.

@Hate2Iron I hated anything to do with math. That is not a subject I am very fond of. I use a calculator.

Geometry. The teacher didn't seem to care if you weren't "getting it".
