How do you deal with uncertainty?

I have anxiety because my needs are not met. Everything seems so uncertain. My mom will have to be vaccinated even if she had a serious problem. She is worried. Nothing is certain in this life and I need certainty. I wonder what is the solution for this uncertainty, especially now with this pandemic. Many young people died because of Covid. I think all people have to deal with uncertainty because nothing is certain or permanent in this life.

It's all about taking everything day by day. Also realizing that it's okay to NOT be okay. I have a sign that says "There is nothing certain but the uncertain". I've also found that writing things down like a journal or whatnot of things that ARE certain helps out. It can be something silly like "I will get a spam call tomorrow", "I'm going to eat a whole thing of Ben and Jerries" to more serious things like "I have the love of my family".
I would say though trying to get some of your needs met would most likely be a major help. Even if its just small things that you can have met.

@mommabear1960 I am looking for online work. I saw your comment now. Can you send me a private message? Here it's not allowed to write them, but a private message can be sent. I posted something about earnings and it was deleted.

@dya80dya are you looking for online work or in person? I'm not sure what the rules here are regarding recommending outside sites for earning but if it's allowed and you're looking for online I can give you the sites and apps that I personally use. Though with Covid some of them have been slower it's still a respectable amount you can earn.

@dya80dya I do think about the future, although I admit this probably wasn't always the case.

I would be lying to you if I told you that there is any certainty in this world. There is no certainty. We can find ways to cope and ways to hope to some point. Some of us have it easier than others and some of us have a lot to deal with. The only thing I am certain about is when God is in the picture.

@dya80dya Yes, some people feel that way. However, I see the sun is still shining, the rain is still falling and the earth still producing food. It looks to me that many people have abandoned God and are not loving either Him or their neighbours. I see all the signs that Jesus said we would see in the time just before his return for judgement.

It seems very uncertain at this time, you are right.
I am also very worried about your Mom.
Certainty for me is knowing that I must carry on, though things look bleak.
I am glad to have you for a friend Diana, of that I am certain
I understand you, and certainty is something that is necessary at times.
To live your life as if nothing is going on or nothing bad happens is to live in a non reality.
I prefer to be grounded in reality not some fantasy world busily trying to impress others.
