Love is in the air

Sometimes love comes when you least expect it. I have a very dear friend who has been on her own for the past 8 years. She is a sweet, gentle person who has been convinced that she will never have a relationship that really matters in the matter of the heart. Not that she was looking for one. A few months ago she was on Facebook and received a friend request from someone she went to high school with. After long hard thought she decided to friend him. Oddly enough this was a person that she had her first date with while in high school. For one reason or another they never really had anything more than a friend relationship. They began talking back and forth and arranged to meet. Months later they are now planning to be married in March. They seem to be the perfect couple. Isn't it something how the golden year bunch can feel as giddy as teenagers when it comes to love?
