CAn you kiss a person have Gingivitis?

yes gingivitis is very contagious. this periodontal disease can be transmitted via an infected salive(think: coughing, kissing, sneezing drinking in the same glass or bottle etc). this is usually spread within family members. i won't dare to kiss an infected mouth as it is very contagious. gingivitis is a major cause of tooth loss.

I have been told that if a person has gingivitis you shouldn't even drink after them because you'll get it too. With that said, my answer is no, you shouldn't kiss a person with gingivitis.
