Handling students is sometimes really tough, though in secondary classes you don't have to put much physical labour but the mental labour is even more. And if you live in hostel you got to see so much of drama.
My roommate, she's an 11th grade student studied from state board all her life. Don't even understand hindi amd our school teaches completely in English and Hindi mixed she's facing a very hard time understanding all the concepts. She scored 0/30 in all three subjects (PCB) but her parents don't want her to drop out of school.
She took my phone for calling her parents and a lot of things happened over phone she was crying, shouting and i couldn't even understand what she was saying nor i could console her as she won't understand.
She's still crying and i am feeling really bad for her

Maybe she should have chosen an English medium school only. She won't be able to understand much if the classes are being conducted both in Hindi and English. I feel sorry for her. Maybe she had an issue with her parents regarding the results.

@ThatDisha It’s up to her and her parents to have her learn.

She is under stress. Science stream is tough and it can be still more difficult if it was not her choice, if parents have asked her to take PCB. Many parents want their children to be doctors or engineers. If her parents can meet her and talk to her she might find a solution. She might choose arts or commerce if she so wishes.
I am foster father and teacher in a child care home and my daughter has just completed 12 st and gone to a medical college. I understand the pressure your roommate is going through.
