Good day to you all,
So, I just read about something that kind of hits home to me, and I have to say I am not happy about it. I guess Biden’s latest thing is saying that those in the military should be dishonorably discharged if they refuse the Covid vaccine.
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) prohibits the Pentagon from punishing or dishonorably discharging any service member who refuses a vaccine. Yet, Biden is trying to override this and get them to dishonorably discharge them.
Many Americans have reservations about taking a vaccine that has only been available for less than a year and has no long-term effects testing. We have no idea what the this will do to people over the coming years. We are just supposed to trust it.
We are talking about making mostly young, healthy and physically fit men and woman who have the ability to fight off the virus forced into getting an untested and mostly ineffective vaccine or be dishonorably discharged. That is not a good choice either way.
Again, another way he is trying to take away our freedoms.

I was unable to find anything saying Biden is/has said that those who serve in the military should be dishonorably discharged. I did however find many articles stating that Rep. Mark Green, R-Clarksville proposed the amendment to the FY2022 National Defense Authorization Act. Do you by chance have a source that it was indeed Biden?

there is a few just search biden says dishonorable discharge and you will find plenty of articles on it.
It may not be enough for a U.S. soldier, sailor, airman, or Marine to simply decide that they don’t want a Covid-19 vaccination so they’re going to leave their post with an honorable discharge. Democrats in the House, backed by the Biden administration, ar

I did some searching and also looked into the Statement of Administration Policies. From what I am reading the Pentagon has said that the mandate is a lawful order that must be followed. While I do not agree with a dishonorable discharge I do feel that with the number of younger people being brought into the hospital and many more deaths due to the Delta Variant it is important that we do what we can to stop the spread.
America itself is hitting an average of deaths we've not seen since March 1.
And I understand the fear of long-term effects, but we still don't even know the full extent of long-term effects from having Covid in general.
That being said, for over 50 years scientists had studied other coronaviruses for 50 years, mRNA vaccines for over 10 years so its new but not. Source:

@mommabear1960 Unfortunately, we see stories from both sides and very little proof of what is the truth from either one of them. I am at the belief that it is my choice to get it or not get it. Oddly enough I have said from day one that I will not get it even then Trump was in office just like all the people in power....now that they are the ones in power now they are like oh get it it's fine, much different tune from when Trump was in there but I still stand in the I am not going to get it. I dont trust it and I trust this administration less than I did the last.
