Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. Hebrews 13:15
Sometimes, I feel great fear for some of the things happening in our country, for my family, or life in general.
I decided to trust God and praise Him in every worry in life (I have an anxiety disorder, so this is a lot of worries).
Jesus said, "which of you by worrying can add one moment to your life."
I know I am more happy and less fearful when I praise God and trust in Him.

I have anxiety too. I play worship songs and raise my hand everyday

I'm sorry you also go through this. I couldn't get through it without Jesus, because He is our rock and our strength. I also listen to a lot of praise and worship songs. He is so good.

@misunderstood_zombie Yes, it is impossible to be sad when you praise God.

I've also read that it's impossible to praise God and be sad. I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate, but I praise Him anyway.

I think we need to do what works for us in life, and it is great you have found solace.

It really works, but sometimes it's hard to let it go. The results are such a blessing though.

I love that scripture. It reminds me that I should also praise God in troubled times when it's almost a sacrifice, not just when I'm happy.

That's a good way to phrase it. Yes, we should praise Him all the time during the good and the bad.
