In the common Indian films the cop hero is a dashing handsome man. He can take all the goons of the city single handedly. He is brave, fearless and honest to the core. He can sing and dance when he has to romance the young heroine. At the end of the film he kills the villain. This police film is different. The protoganist is not a dashing young man. He wears a half sleeved white shirt. He is asked to control crime in the city. He has very unconventional methods. He takes villains by horns. When necessary, he just shoots them down. Nana Patekar leads the encounter team. With his unconventional methods he is able to control the crimes in the city. His dialogue delivery is superbly unique. Dialogues are sometimes very humorous though the situation at the moment is serious. "Ab tak Chhappan" is a good film, worth seeing. Now its sequel has come. I saw some pieces of the sequel and found them to be excellent.

We have mental health people come out sometimes instead of cops

That's good, I think. I'm guessing police forces do have something simular, but they often work in teams.

I haven't had time to watch any films in years. I like to read about the police and detectives rather than watch them.
