September 23 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I hoped to get to the pool this morning, but that didn't happen. My son was very busy this morning. Instead, I got some work done in the living room.
I'm thankful I have the living room almost finished. I have a couple of bare walls that need something. I have a couple of pictures to hang, but I don't want them on those walls. I'm not certain what I'm going to put there.
I'm thankful the movie that messed up yesterday, played perfectly today. I watched/listened to it while I hung pictures and knickknack shelves.
I'm thankful I got some walking in today. Call me a wuss, but my body isn't ready for the 80s one day and the 50s the next. So, I didn't walk as much as I'm used to. There was also a cold breeze this morning. As I acclimate to the new lower temps, I'll be walking a lot more.

You're getting something accomplished. So, you didn't get to the pool... there's always tomorrow. And, no... I always have an adjustment period when the temps decide to do their thing.

@kaylachan My son is working on it for me. I'm hoping by the weekend it will be taken care of. His mechanic friend has a shop in his garage. He already talked to him, so we'll see how soon everything will be done.

Sounds like you had a good day. I had a good Thursday too. I went to the construction site and was happy with the progress. Had to drive 70km from home to get there but I was able to enjoy some beautiful scenery on my way there. And I am grateful for that.

I still have a little bit to do. I want to finish the living room today and then get the pictures hung in my bedroom. Then I will be finished.

@just4him I don't remember the last time I got to sleep in. Usually I don't get to sleep in because my son always wakes up around 7 am....but he chose to sleep in today too.

I hope you get your living room finished soon, bte, it already looks great!
It seems you are grateful today for a lot of things.
I am grateful that I finished a work procedure that needed updating and that meant a lot of work and a lot of hours studying boring legislation! Phiu, now it's done!
And I am thankful it's Friday!
