Back in Fashion Again and Again

Today, while waiting for my daughter who ran into a store, a woman came out wearing what I consider bell bottoms or flares. I was rather shocked for I thought we were finished with that for a minute, but it's back already.
Fashion always comes back to borrow past styles. Maybe, because they've run of new ideas or perhaps it's a beloved idea renewing it's place from the past to the future.
Do you like bell bottoms or flares?

Wasn't a fan of bell bottoms.
Not really surprised as fashion is seasonal. Every previous trend is poised ot make a comeback although there are those that you wish shouldn't have returned.

I know what you mean. Some are just wrong and needs to bow out for good.
Fashion can be a hard task master for some, but thankfully not for me.

I loved them decades ago. But then I wasn´t old and weighed less. I love to see some clothes in my granddaughter that I could not wear.

@misunderstood_zombie The only clothes I wear are those that are comfortable. Some of my sweaters are over 20 years of age

@marguicha I can see where those would be very soft.

It's in response to the trend of wearing pants with legs so tight you have to peel them off. I could see that bouncing back real quick.
I didn't mind bell bottoms but flat refused to buy or wear "skinny" jeans.

I like straight leg pants but not ones that need to be peeled off, so I don't blame you.

In my younger days, I loved these kinds of jeans. Then I got older and wanted comfortable clothing like sports pants with elastic and I have not worn jeans in ages,

I never thought I would give jeans up, but like you I want comfort as I get older.
