- The United States (US) threatened not be able to pay debts in October. In addition, the US government also said that the country would run out of money to pay the debt. Quoted from datalab.usaspending.gov, the total debt is US$ 26.95 trillion (2020 data) or equivalent to Rp. 384.03 thousand trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp. 14,250). This means that the US debt is almost Rp. 400,000 trillion.
