Deep Sea or Fresh Water?

Krankies, I'd have to say freshwater because I won't have to deal with nurse sharks and bullheads...I used to fish off the warfs in the Calif. bay area with my parents and that's what we used to catch, not that we wanted to..LOL.:)) That's why I prefer freshwater i.e. large mouth bass, crappy, TROUT especially. Not much for perch, too many bones. I'm o.k. with catfish.

I really do not care to fish. Nor do I like to eat it, except for salmon. I cannot stand the smell of fish.

I've never fished deep-sea, but I much prefer fishing from the shore than fresh-water. Because I live in the UK, all of the fresh water is either privately owned, or managed farm-style. There's nothing like catching fresh wild fish and cooking it up for supper!
