My first salaried job was a data entry clerk some 11 years ago (i'm only 27 right now). It was fun to get a check every week, I remember that was how I felt at the time. Since then I've had a few other salaried jobs, but now I make my living from home, do volunteer work and participate in the community with the spare time i have. with the internet how it is now, anyone who spends enough time (unpaid) to get things rolling can be successful from home too. salaried, "on-site" jobs will always be around, but for anyone educated in technology (any field), it shouldn't be their only option.
