We did a bubble walk/run 5K this weekend. They had bubble machines blacking bubbles in the different locations over the 5K course. It was like walking through a big bubble bath. Sooo much fun! We had done a black light 5K 2 years ago. It is in the dark and glow in the dark powder gets puffed out in three different locations along the track. By the end of the race your white black light run tshirt is a beautiful glowing rainbow colored beautiful mess. Of course the activities for last year were canceled. In fact our t-shirt had a 2021 stamped over the 2020. I should mention it is a charity event so only cost $10 and that is a donation. We will be definitely hitting this again next year, way to much family fun!
Have you do one of these or something similar, that was so fun you forgot you were exercising?

I've never heard of something like that... I'm sure it was fun.
No, we're still avoiding people. We've been vaccinated but worry about break-through events.

That does sound like a lot of fun. I've never done anything like that, but if there was a wheelchair-friendly option I might consider it.

I've never heard of these types of walk/runs before. They do sound like fun and something for the whole family mostly anyway. Our city does a yearly walk run with the community center and for the avid walkers they find other events too. I did a 6k in Ohio once but nothing since then.

@mom210 I did a 6k back in the eighties without any special effects. I don't remember how far I ran before switching over to walking but I was with friends which made it easier.
