You are asking for a word to be corrected and I do not know which word it is. But if you want the sentence to be corrected
For that one should firist know what you are trying to convey . What I have understood is that 'one should not hate someone before understanding why they are doing what they do '

Yes, to the best that I'm understanding what is being said there, your framing of it sounds correct to me, as well.

@Sumsuma I hope other users will also understand you Your thinking is correct. We should not hate anyone unless we find out why they are doing what they do

Your sentence is OK. You could say you "don't want to hate/fall out with someone, but want to understand the motives for their behaviour"
There are probably other ways of translating but, if you understand the sentence I've written, and it's what you meant to say, then you've done a good job with your own sentence.

Sorry, I can`t understand what you are trying to ask here. You want us to correct your sentence or behavior?

@Sumsuma It is hard to correct when we don`t know what you are trying to tell us. What you are trying to say is that you are trying to understand a person when they did something unusual to you?

@m_audrey6788 Yes, something like that. What I means is trying to more understand what someone did.

You can use "behaving in such a fashion " instead of " becoming like that". I think you wanted a correct form of what you wrote, right?

I'm sorry I can't help, but I think you've got the help you need. I'm more interested to discuss about the sentence you asked, what's the background of the story for that statement, do you ask for correction because its part of homework or because something else.
