Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I believe stress is something we all have faced in our lives at some point or other. Especially since last 2 years because of Pandemic, we were in lockdown at our home all days. Initially we all were stressed out, but then we gradually found something to engage our minds be it developing a hobby or restarting the old hobbies. Stress creates negative energy which isn't easy for escape. It not only impacts our mind but body too. We face hairfall, breakout in skin, sleepiness all the time, mood swings etc. We can all try to cope with stress because not getting stressed is inevitable. We all get at some point or other. It's important how we recover from it by doing whatever makes us happy and diverts our mind. Share your thoughts about it. Try to stay happy and safe. Take care!!

I have been sick for nearly two years which affected me both physically and mentally. It was so draining. I now meditate and try to be more regular in prayers. This is helping

@cacay1 I have an autoimmune chronic disease. Took some time to get diagnosed. I'm now in remission meaning that the disease can flare up again at any time

Most stress is man made. Pandemic is not an exception here. Too much of fear caused by media, too much of lockdown etc . has caused to more problems. Difficult academic portion, too long working hours, meaningless restrictions in society, religious brainwashing - all these are man made problems that cause stress. Yet a person can remain calm and cool in spite of all the stressful people around him

I think lockdowns and quarantines that we have been experiencing around the world has really brought with them many feeling of anxiety. I survived this negative feelings by creating a workout and excise routine to keep me busy, I also just enjoyed connecting with people through forums like mylot. There are other means like gardening, making crafts or just watching nice shows on TV.

We should also learn to channel our emotions and do not dwell much on things that cause our stress.

Yes, stress is very bad for health and it is hard to escape the stress because we enter in a loop of negative energy and we realise we are stressed and then we are stressing ourselves because we were stressed in the first place and so on. Yes, life and other people are stressful and it can affect our health depending of how much we let it in. So, it is up to us to lean how to cope with stress, to let in as little as possible of the bad stuff and avoid as much as possible the stressful situations (when they can be avoided). Another thing I think it is important is to see and remind ourselves of the good parts in our lives, of all the positive stuff that exists around us.
