My hat in that wouldn't, stay black

I sat there looking at my new black hat that had white shinning through. It came to me, use black permanent marker on the white areas. I did, wore it in a perspiry day, it worked nicely. I'm hoping permanent black marker won't come out during laundry.

It will turn lighter and lighter the more times it's washed. But all you have to do is use the black marker again when you see it getting lighter in color.

You may have to reapply the marker after a couple of washings.

Let's hope it wouldn't. Sharpie seems to be a tough one that doesn't fade easily.
