Since 2005 in Artesina, Italy people can look out their windows at the 5,000 foot high mountains in Northern Italy and not just see the mountains and countryside but also a 200 foot long and 20 feet high pink bunny rabbit. It looks great among the dark green foliage.
To everyone the giant pink rabbit was a surprise and was created by the art collective from Vienna, Gelitin. The rabbit was built on the hill to make visitors feel like they were Lilliputians from Gulliver's Travels. Visitors have been encouraged to interact with this gigantic pink bunny even resting on top of it. Unfortunately, for the rabbit by 2016, it had almost completely decomposed.

@allknowing and wool gets saturated in wet weather and all kinds of things happen to it, They should have placed a plastic covering over the bunny

@Ronrybs here is the info
Situated above the village Artesina in the Italian Alps, the giant Rabbit was knit of pale pink wool by actual grandmothers over the course of five years. Upon its completion, the 60 meter long x 6 meter tall woolen sculpture was placed, supine, like a giant inviting pillow on a Piedmont, Italy hilltop in 2005.

That is such a unique tourist concept.
Many might flock to a place to see such a rabbit.
May be the tourism decision makers here also come up with such an innovative means.
Great share!!

I can see the tiny people on the bunny. Whoever thought of that really has a mind of child who loves fairy tales. Great idea!

It's historical, it should be kept where it won't decompose.
