Today, my daughter and I went to a park nearby. This area is known for where the extreme rich live.
Nestled in between all the million dollar homes is a wonderful park with great trails.
On this trail are the back fences of some of the backyards. Right by Coral's head is stained glass put into someone's back fence door.
I've never seen stained glass in a fence before, it's beautiful yet it made me laugh when I saw it.
What do you think?
Picture is mine

Rather a creative idea, You can tell it's a classy neighborhood no one has tried to break that glass,

I didn't even think of that. You're right though, many places it would be broken.

It's pretty but around here it would be broken in no time.
My daughter set pumpkins out on the railing around our front porch. I keep telling her the teens around here will splatter them on the street but she thinks they "look beautiful until they do".
We couldn't have decorations outside at the other house. Teens would come by every night, tearing them down. The police wouldn't even show up when called about it. They told me to stop putting decorations out.

@misunderstood_zombie So far, she's right, the pumpkins haven't been bothered here. Maybe it was just the teens where we used to live. I don't know.

That's terrible. Teenagers can be very scary. I've seen them act quite crazy sometimes.

@misunderstood_zombie I remember when we had built our new house one of the visitors remarked that we should do something with our compound wall as it did not match the beauty of our house (lol)

This is a most beautiful picture Rhonda!!I love it!
And the title of your discussion is beautiful..you could write a book with that title..very catchy..almost sounds like a Lifetime romance or something.
No I had never seen stained glass in a fence.
Yes, the lives of the rich in contrast to folk such as us...
As lovely as that stained glass is though, remember, one could break it easily.

@misunderstood_zombie I would have too, at least in my younger years.

That is so nice of you to say. Yes all that fancy stuff is just stubble and ash and actually meaningless. I've always thanked God for not letting me have money, for I am sure I would have been foolish with it.

I LOVE it---anything that adds color, something 'different', new, unexpected to life, a surprise makes me feel better!

It is lovely, but somehow strange. It's hard to explain.

@Vree0937 Yes, that would be good so you can see who's there.

We didn't get very far because of the mosquitoes, but next time we will venture farther and see if there are any more like this.

@misunderstood_zombie The mosquitoes are a serious problem. I am hoping for cold days to see all those in our garden disappear. They are spoiling the pleasure to go out.

@LadyDuck I'll be happy also. I'm happy they don't love me and I hardly get bitten but they love my two year old grandson.

I think a dragon would be so nice. There's a large dragon in front of someone's house in her neighborhood and I just love it.

I could understand it more if it was in the front of the fence, but the very back. It's kind of different.

I guess so. They come out on the trail to jog, so they need something pretty to look at.
