The world is a weird place

Besides reading the usual news I really enjoy reading more offbeat news. It's a nice distraction and there are many stories that make me laugh or wonder how the world got to this place.
Today's highlights were no different.
I read about NY seizing illegal vans that were advertised as glamping experiences on Airbnb, A Turkish man attending a search effort...for himself, an artist who was paid $84,000 by a museum to use in his craft and delivered them blank canvases titled "Take the Money and Run"., and of course the party bus that saved the day for a school field trip.
So what are some of the more unique news stories that you have read about lately?

Not really unique but one of those interesting advanced technology. I read it two weeks ago and i think it was Mercedes who developed this concept car that we can drive using just our mind. I find it kind of creepy though.

I don't know how to feel about that one. On paper it seems like an awesome idea but how does the car know when to not listen to your thoughts?

You're not the only one. But there are decent news stories out there as well. Sadly they are harder to find.
