HAPPY NATIONAL COFFEE DAY! Another day, another holiday that totally excludes me. Just like New Year's Eve and Lent, where people flaunt their imperfections in front of me. They tell me what they're quitting or starting, completely insensitive to the fact that I have no bad habits to quit and I already have all the good habits they are promising to start. Today, they aren't starting and quitting good and bad habits. But it's just as bad. Because they're drinking coffee. All of them. Officially, it's not all of them. The stats say that only six out of 10 Americans drink coffee each day---But if you were here, you'd swear that it's 9 out of 10, with me being the only abstainer. It's OK. I understand and fully accept all the hardships, heartaches and inconveniences that come from being perfect. I also understand that I did it to myself. No one twisted my arm and said, "Be perfect! Or else!" There's no one big enough to do that but that's hardly an excuse and utterly beside the point. What isn't beside the point is all the deals you can get today if you're one of the six out of ten that enjoys coffee. There's a huge list of them in the article below. If none of them appeal to you, just keep your pants on (Or take them off, because I have no right to tell you what to do) for a couple more days because ::SPOILER ALERT:: October 1, is International Coffee Day. And there will probably will loads more free coffee.
