Whew! Accountability works because I've been being diligent on the treadmill (I missed one day out of this day 5 to 12 group) despite working long hours. Even if it's only for a couple of minutes, I make sure I walk a little, because anything beats a blank, as my dad says.

I agree with you that accountability is one way to stay mentally and physically fit.

I walk outside almost every:day and get 8000 steps most days. I could walk the treadmill ar the gym but I’d rather walk outside.

8000 steps!? My goodness. See, you're motivated and disciplined. I have not been on top of getting my steps in, hardly at all. I definitely have to make walking a priority, because I LOVE to walk, and it's good for me, I just sometimes get my priorities mixed up.

@HomeBase I do miss some days when I’m just too busy but not often.

@RubyHawk That's really good that you don't often miss your walking. I tend to let minor things get in the way of doing important things... I might spend a lot of time online looking at YouTube, or reading, and the next thing I know, hours have passed, and it's time to cook a meal for my family, time to do some cleaning in the house... that sort of thing.

I use my treadmill as often as I can. Every little bit helps.
