Morning coffee by the beach

I have been working from home over the last few days but I was requested to come to office today to attend two meetings which they refused to hold virtually.
I had to wake up earlier than usual and I'm still feeling sleepy. I reached work quite early today as the traffic was smooth. So, I decided to drop by my favourite coffee shop near the beach and have some me time.
I am now having my mocaccino by the beach listening to the sound of the waves. So peaceful and relaxing. I feel so refreshed.
I have two meetings today. The first one starts at 9 am and second one at 11 am. I will be heading back home once the meetings are over.

The city is called Port Louis and that's where the harbour/port is located.
I had to rush to my second meeting as the first one ended a bit late. But they waited for me at the second meeting. It was a good day as I it started wonderfully and also I got to socialize after so long

I couldn't get a better view as I felt lazy to walk around. I didn't want to move from my seat. I was too comfortable 
The meetings are over and I'm back home now. My first meeting finished a bit late and I had to rush to the second one. Thankfully they waited for me

Unfortunately, this area is a bit far from my office and I rarely go there. Since I reached office earlier today, I seized this opportunity to go there.
I love to go there especially in the morning as it is not crowded. I had a great time there. I needed to be by myself for some time.

@Lignitecityabishek96 yes far from my home and a bit near to my workplace.
I wish I could go there everyday to chill but it's about 45 minutes walk from my office. It's tiring to walk all the way to go there and come back. Today since I reached early I went there first then afterwards I went to office

We also have been working from home since the pandemic. Now the schools are opening up for physical classes. I have to go to school this Saturday for a meeting and set things up for a physical set up.
That's a beautiful view. It would be heaven to enjoy your morning coffee listening to the waves.

I was glad to be there this morning. It was so peaceful and calm.
As from tomorrow, classes will be resuming normally over here. Previously, there was a roster system. However, it's so ufortunate that many school children are getting contaminated. They have started vaccinating teenagers over here. Hoping that this will make a difference. Only time will tell.

@Nawsheen Here too school is open once again. But hopefully it goes well. Last time many teachers and students got infected. Though the teachers are vaccinated here, the vaccine has not yet come for children. College students are vaccinated and colleges are open.

It would be fun to have coffee by the beach. If I wanted to, I could have it down by the lake, but seems like a lot of trouble to go to just for a cuppa. I would have to combine it with a fishing or sunbathing trip I guess.

I'm retired now so covid didn't really affect me. I wouldn't have been able to work from home though as I was a cook in an old people's home. You take some great pictures.

Thankfully when I got covid my employer allowed me to work from home. Else, they would have deducted my leaves.
Unfortunately, not all works can be done from home. If an employee from a restaurant/shop/supermarket gets infected, they disinfect the place and they get a new team to work.
