Do you ask big to God?

I came across this message from Joel Osteen. It inspires me and gives me hope in my situation. I really don't ask for something so big in my life. I'm afraid to be disappointed. I'm afraid to have expectations.
When I pray to God honestly I just pray for small things and feel contented if He answers my small request. I'm scared and not bold to try to ask for big things.
I feel God cannot give my big dreams and request.
When we pray and release our faith—when we ask God to work in our lives—our asking opens the door for His great work in our lives. But, we have to ask. Jabez...

When we ask God , it is how we perceive God .if we ask small , we perceive Him as small. If we ask big, we see Him as big.
We should never hesitate to ask big because He is bigger than our dreams. He can give everything to us. We need to have a relationship with Him. Obedience is a blessing.

When i ask, i ask big and if it’s not granted i tell myself, God knows better than i do. He knows what’s best for me.

I pray and ask for small and big things... Most of the things I need that I asked before were already granted...
Don't hesitate to ask big. If you need it and if it is good for you, He will grant it, in His time...

@averygirl72 Come to think of it, there is nothing He cannot handle..we just think it is big but to Him it is nothing. We should ask big.

I guess before we can even think of asking big, we really need to know what is really big for ourselves.
There are a lot of false bigs out there, like giving me a big win in Tattslotto, for example.
The biggest thing that I ask of God, is for him to teach me how to love him in the biggest of ways possible for me to do. I hope, and I know that that is a real big.

That's the right attitude in asking God. If we ask for the right thing He will give us more that what we ask

We should ask God to teach us how to learn how to love best, or secondly, we could ask for greater wisdom, as which Solomon asked God for, and God was pleased about his request too.

I feel that Osteen is more about getting wealth in this world than preaching the gospel. Some of the things he says are right but I'm very careful about what he says and what I believe.

If I may ask God for something, I want God to always give health to my mother until I am successful and can make her happy.
I'm asking like this because my father left when I was 17 years old, I haven't had time to repay all of his services
But I always believe that all God's decisions against us are the best decisions.
