October 1 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a very good day.
I'm thankful I got the car taken care of this afternoon. I had it towed to my son's complex. He will get in touch with his mechanic friend.
I'm thankful for the time I spent with my son and an added bonus, with my grandson.
I'm thankful my son took me shopping for cleaning supplies. I also got a couple of other things I need/want. I got rid of my griddle and electric skillet when I moved. I needed to replace at least the griddle. It's a Power XL Grill and Press Plus. This will enhance my cooking.
I'm thankful I scanned and sent the towing receipts to my insurance company for reimbursement.
Okay, that's been my day. Very good, and the weather is nice too. Warm. This is the last of the hot weather until spring, I hope. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Thankful that it tis Friday and I am looking forward tonight's Bible teaching and learning more on virtue as what we heard was over the top and I know it brought growth in my life in dealing with what I have to dela with in helping sis with my brother-in-law

Glad the car will hopefully get fixed and stay that way for a long time.

I am thankful that I am going to receive a pre paid card from Visa from a survey site and that the nail that was trapped inside of a printer fell out when I was going to throw it out to the trash this afternoon. Saved me a pretty penny buying a new printer this month.

I'm so glad you got your car towed to your son's home. Now, his friend can check it out, to get that started unstuck.

I learned from the tow truck driver that the starter can get that way if the flywheel stops doing what it's supposed to. The only thing then is to buy a new one. Starters are also not as expensive as the shop would have you believe. The tow truck driver said you can even get them cheaper online than at the store. My son told me there is a three-month warranty on parts from stores, so the starter should still be covered if it needs replacing, which it sounds like it does. Just not for $357.99.

@just4him Do you still have your receipt for the starter? This proves when you purchased it and where.
