Mice of the same frequency run together?

I use wireless mouse for my laptop. Yesterday, we were kicked out from our office as we have another positive case. So we setup a temporary office in one of the meeting room with just all of us in the department. The computers were pretty close to one another. Then I noticed I had a hard time clicking my mouse. It moved randomly too. I thought it was running out battery, so I charged it. It still didn't work. Then I removed the adapter and plug it back again. Still not working. I restarted my laptop but still didn't do anything. At that point, my laptop didn't detect my mouse at all. But there was random move and apps opening sometimes. That's when I look around and noticed a co-worker was using the same mouse as I was. I thought we have different signal for our wireless devices. I guess there's a possibility that something like this might happened too. We learn something new everyday. Meanwhile I ordered a new mouse as I thought this one was broken

I gave up using both the wireless keyboard and the mouse. They let you down at the wrong time Yours was indeed a freaky kind of occurrence.

I should buy a wired mouse as standby. But I would hardly need it unless we have to set a temporary office again.

@prinzcy I have had both these wireless devices but they need new batteries. I am now happy with the wired devices

THat does happen from time to time. If you have to alike mice, they can cancel each other out. Most people who use wireless mice, don't like the touch pad, but if you're going to have to work so closely with other people, use the trackpad on your laptop.

I already ordered a new mouse, which probably would have a different signal. Hopefully. I don't really like to use the touchpad.

Yes, I need a backup anyway, just in case this one decided to 'die' someday.

That's interesting. I had a wireless mouse, but went back to one with a wire because I had too many problems with the wireless one.
