So, lots of fall festivals going on now. The nearby town had one, and it is always nice. It was a little bit warm, but fun, and I got a free flu shot plus bought my first Christmas present. Earrings for mom, who is a jewelry freak. Pet adoptions from the local shelter were free today too.and the cats were super friendly. I just don't know how Nico would react though..and the cat might be scared and meow all night or something. I will check in on the cat periodically though and see how it is. There were two that looked fantastic and were both friendly. Also there was a metapshyical festival...at the local Ciderworks. That was fun, but everything was expensive

@Sojourn Ohh OK THanks for the info. In this country as you know, people are monotheistic and worship one God.

@snowy22315 Our community worships the goddess Kali on the day before Diwali. In most other parts of India they worship goddess Laxmi.

I was really not happy that are Renaissance Festival was cancelled earlier this year. Of course, the crazy natives here were not wearing masks for the most part. I saw like maybe 3 masks in a crowd of 1,500. At least most people were walking around and not really close to each other, for the most part. Except when at the tents. I had mine on. I plan on wearing mine until I get the booster. At least cases are going down now in most states.

@LadyDuck I do too. I have forgotten it on ocassion, but I will wear 90 percent of the time, unless I am just down at the lake or walking the neighborhood or something.

@snowy22315 This is the reason why they are cancelling the festivals here, they are sure that people would not maintain social distancing and some will wear their mask under their nose. People can be so stupid!
I wear my mask all the time, I feel safer.

If you are able to introduce the two slowly and give them space to get used to each other, they can prove to be good friends.

Yeah, that is what I want to do. I don't want the new kitty to be terrified though. When I have had two cats in the past they have never gotten along very well, but I think I probably introduced them too quickly

I know they do, and I really want to give a new kitty a home. Plus Nico might eventually really like having a brother or sister.
