October 2 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was good.
I'm thankful for the laid-back day. I finished notifications early and worked on Where Eagles Soar. Took out the garbage and met a resident who has been here for eleven years. I then cleared off my patio as they will power wash the patios next week. I put the table in my closet. It's good to know it fits well, which means a desk will fit there too when I get it and move my office into the closet.
I'm thankful for the exercise I got walking the halls. It takes 15 minutes to walk the hall from one end to the other and back to my apartment. It's a good workout. I won't need to go outside in winter to get a good walk. I took two walks and worked the foot cycle for half an hour.
I looked at diet options. I'm going to stick with what I know and find a way to jumpstart the weight loss again. I'm tired of being stuck in maintaining my weight. I need to get rid of another 50 pounds.

I am thankful I got a flu shot for free. I am also thankful for the nice day today was and the chance to go to two festivals.

Look into some other exercises you can do and switch up the routine. Cardio alone won't do it. You need to work other muscles, too. Try adding crunches, push ups or other low-intinicity activity to your day.

@kaylachan Right now the best exercise for me is the pool, walking, and the foot cycle if I can't get to the Y to work out in the fitness center.

That sounds like a fine day. Do you have friends in you new place? Or any club sort of a place to meet with people?
Or are Covid guidelines still in place.
We went to a Mall recently after some goo gap although with masks, sanitizers and with distance protocols in place!

Yes but we try to avoid places with high people concentration in a limited area.
And no movie watching in the halls.

All the more important as we have some big festivals coming up. Old mistake of opening up too much during the festivals is better avoided.

Yes, I'm meeting people and making friends. There is a community room to meet people. I've only been there once to check it out. Yes, we still have COVID guidelines in place. I learned there is a person on the third floor with COVID.
I'm glad you could go to the mall even though masks were required.

My daughter recently moved and she put her office in the closet also. She works on her computer at home and she she calls the room her cloffice.
