If the Deceased are called ''Late,'' Why Aren't the Living called 'Early'?

I guess it's because they often mean /recently/ dead (as in 'the phrase "of late"' or "lately").

And people do 'they were in their "early" 20's or -30's or -40's etc.... although they don't say they were still 'early' in their late 20's or -30's or -40's.
Also ... This question, it can now "earn money." If it couldn't earn money here, I would've asked it on Twitter (where--though 'my audience' (my number of "followers") is several times larger--it would be read by the same number of people).
Why aren't more people posting to myLot rather than Twitter? I think it's because--since they have to keep tabs on 'who's seeing ads'--the 'operators' can't make myLot as accessible as Twitter (where lots of people post almost-automatically (without looking at ANY ads).
