Lavender Oil & a Strange Dream

Had a restful day Monday watching features about my favorite saint - Francis of Assisi. 'twas his feast day. The more I watch about the reluctant saint, the more I feel ill equipped in my goal of reaching heaven. Realized that the notion I had of doing more for a fellow man isn't enough. Francis actually showed that the calling of our Lord Jesus to follow Him meant the Cross. 'Follow Me' means dying more each day. Such was the state of mind and being that I went to bed last night. Splashed a little lavender oil on my night shirt and off to deep slumber, Strange dream about finding my self in an activity where the participants, without knowing, were probably hypnotized into doing an exercise, as if a strange zombie is after us. Two of my high school mates were with me. At the end of the exercise, each participant was asked to pay a hundred pesos for exercise. We were duped. Woke up and pondered about the nightmare. A little frightening. Hmmm. Must be the lavender oil. So, I held my yellow Rosary and prayed the Joyful Mystery. I felt better.
