Korean food

After the Korean series and Kpop wave here comes the Korean food.
Whenever I watch a Korean series I always end up eating ramen. Although we Filipinos eat local ramen before the Korean wave, now the grocery stores have a whole section for Korean food.
On special occasions we would grill pork bellies complete with side dishes like kimchi, lettuce, Tteok-bokki etc.
Now Korean restaurants and convenience stores are popping everywhere.
I think for us Korean wave is gonna stay for a long long while.

It's just similar to the Japanese food craze of the 90s. Filipinos are very adventurous when it comes to foreign food and try to adopt and blend it with our own like pizza " pandesal" and shawarma rice as examples. I had also learned to eat Korean lately
