Court Hearings Conducted Online

I remember my "witness" and I (Plaintiff's representative) were both nervous to appear at Trial Court for the "Hearings" though it is me who filed the civil case. Silly me. Haha! It is our first time that's why. It is a MUST to do. We feel less nervous now that the Court Hearings are conducted online via video conferencing. Haha! I don't want to meet the defendants in person. LOL! I haven't met them in person and I've only heard the voice of their lawyer/counsel during the video conference. She is like a sales lady in the wet market. Very talkative. I might lose control and be sarcastic to them if we meet face to face. Haha! Glad my lawyer is a very cool old guy and only him appeared in the video conference. I was only listening at the back of the camera. My lawyer requested to not proceed with the pre-trial until summons served to both defendants. The Judge granted it. I sued two women who are married to German nationals and one is currently in Germany according to their lawyer. My lawyer is required to file an appropriate motion. I wonder what the defendants' dumb lawyer would do again.

I'm glad you have a competent lawyer. How did you find him? Are they expensive? (Hope you don't mind me asking)

Yes he is the most expensive lawyer at my home town but he already won the previous civil case of my parents involving the very lot so I don't care giving him even more than he is charging his other clients. I am willing to give him a million or even half of the lot in question. He handled and won my parents' civil case for 17-YEARS even my parents cannot afford the Attorney's Fee. Their agreement was 400 square meters for him if judgements goes to our favor. Luckily both decisions from lower court and Court of Appeals was in our favor. Now that he is already 83-year old working-at-home I am very much willing to give him more to repay his kindness to my family. Without him... we have nothing because my parents are always targeted by fraudsters.

That seems to be an interesting way to conduct court hearings nowadays. I think that is the new normal that we would be on the net already. Seems that will be adapted for a long time since the virus is not stopping from spreading yet.

Yes it is. But I am very confident my evidences cannot be twisted. Civil Case is supported by authentic documents. It's not like criminal cases that can be twisted by lies.
