Have you eaten your evening meal yet?

Leftovers are always good. I usually freeze some of what we cook so we can just pull it out of the freezer and have it on another day without having to cook more. And those sound like good meals for tomorrow, too. If you get tired of cooking, you're welcome to come visit. I can cook for you for a few days or we can just see what's already frozen and eat that, if you'd like. Pretty's boyfriend lives in Georgia... She said in a suburb of Atlanta. (I've never been to Georgia. He came here to visit her before the pandemic. She keeps in touch with him online.)

@Vree0937 We put pasta into the freezer, too. What Italians don't know won't make them look at us like we're crazy.

@DaddyEvil Agree! We also cook pasta whole bags, but we took out only a little, then keep it for other days.Maybe it will insult italians if they know we put pasta in fridge :-D

I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well. Lemon tea and broth might be something I'd eat when I wasn't feeling well, too. I may have mint tea instead of lemon, though. Mint tea soothes my tummy better than lemon tea does. I hope you feel better quickly.

@marguicha Oh, I'm sorry... Pretty has three large patches of flavored mint growing around our house. I prefer plain mint but she likes the orange mint and the chocolate mint.

@DaddyEvil Well, that's not the preferred way to eat make French Toast but it's still pretty good.

I used to drink raw eggs when I was a body builder. But I drank them as fast as I could without looking at them or tasting them. I can't stand eggs if they aren't cooked fully. Pretty wants French toast that still oozes raw egg when she cuts into it. I can't even watch someone eating that.

Pretty asks me to make all kinds of things... I don't mind as long as I like eating that, too... I noticed she didn't go in and make French toast, either. I took three of the twelve slices of bacon. She ate the rest. (We switched to turkey bacon years ago. We did that because neither one of us likes being popped by bacon grease while cooking it.) Pot pie is always good. I like chicken or beef in a pot pie.

@DianneN And then you have to clean the oven right after that or it's a fire hazard.

@DaddyEvil You do know you can make bacon in the oven, too Turkey bacon is much healthier, so what the heck. Yes, beef pot pies are delicious, too.

@DaddyEvil oh yes we love spam but since i don’t eat pork anymore, i stopped unless i find a turkey one.

@toniganzon What was the reason you stopped eating pork?

We buy turkey bacon when it goes on sale and freeze most of it. I believe there are still several packs in the deep freeze. I heard people in the Philippines liked Spam. Most people here don't care for it too much.

I'd rather have mushrooms, jalapenos and tomatoes with mine. Taters would be good too.

@rebelann I would eat all those but Pretty won't eat mushrooms or jalapenos.

You don't eat bell peppers? And why don't you like turkey bacon?

I don't care for rice. What did you eat for breakfast?

@jstory07 Oh... not even some cheese? I'd rather have an omelet but never have been able to get the eggs to flip right... so I add everything into the pan and just scramble it.

You should have come over. I made a lot extra, thinking I'd freeze some of it for other days. (Pretty ate all the bacon, though. )

@wolfgirl569 I'm sure she'd still be willing to eat it if you wanted to come on over.

That sounds good, too. I like most canned soups.

Because Pretty likes it where the egg in the bread is still runny. It upsets my stomach to see someone eating runny eggs.

@Adie04 Oh, that makes perfect sense. I don't see any reason to call that "strange eating habits".

@DaddyEvil oh. I have strange eating habits. I like eating heavy foods in the morning like noodles, rice. Because at night I can eat light foods and sleep early.

What are bacon hotdog sandwiches?

@DaddyEvil I am not a big fan of steamed rice, but I prepare it time by time because my husband likes it with the curry. I would like more Indian flat bread.

Pretty often asks me to make breakfast foods for our dinner. You should have come over and eaten with us. I made extra.

@DaddyEvil You wrote the comment 7 hours ago but I had gone. Seven hours ago would have been about 3pm. I had a cup of instant soup for lunch and Vince has toasted tuna sandwiches.

You saying okra doesn't make me mad. Salad is always good, though.

@arunima25 Okra is still nasty but I promise not to throw up if you say something about it now... maybe... Pretty eats a lot more salads than I do. My dad always said he wasn't a rabbit so don't feed him like one. I'm not a rabbit, either. I will eat them but don't want one often.

I would have taken a taste of the rice and eaten the rest of the meal. It sounds good! YUM!
