Graffiti artists seem to be getting more talented

There’s a fine line between vandalism and beautification. The graffiti artist ‘Banksy’ seems to have made graffiti respectable and even desirable, maybe that’s having a knock-on effect?
In any case there seem to be some talented artists around here somewhere. Bridges carrying our nearest main road are popular ‘canvases’ - one carries the road over the river, so that the towpath passes underneath and makes for a nice quiet stretch of wall to decorate. The other carries a road junction over the intersection of three cycle paths. For a long time these have been targeted by ‘vandals’ who just scribbled mostly-unreadable words or phrases, or marked the places with their ‘tags’, but recently they have been used by people who actually seem to have some talent.
‘Vandals’ who create works of art are far more to be favoured!

There are vandals, and there are street artists. The former are criminals; the latter are rebels.
One of my favorite things I've found spray painted in this city was on a building in a rundown neighborhood. There was a particular (and unrepeatable on this platform) political sentiment that had been added to the wall of a building that had most assuredly seen better days. There were no pictures-- just a few words that delivered a very clear statement.

@Fleura definitely. Here in my country teens often draw swearing words on public facility. But sometimes they only write names. Anddd none of those are attractive. I don't get why do they do it. People say they try showing their existency. Why cant they do it in a good way, like doing charity?
